Battle of the Beauty Blenders
Hello Dolls and Gents,
Today, I am bringing the biggest battle in the makeup industry. A fight between two of the most know beauty blenders. Okay, let' stop this wrestler match voice and get down to busy. Ever since the RT miracle complexion sponge came out, many people have being staying it a dupe for the beautyblender. As time goes on, more companies are bringing out their own version of the beautyblender, but let's be honest nothing compares to the beautyblender if you have tried it.
I will be comparing both of these beautyblender to see if the RT is better than the BB and vice versa. I will be looking at three categories : Size and Shape, Application and Maintenance. In the end, I will make a decision to which I prefer and why.

The rounded bottom make it perfect to apply foundation all over the face. The top comes to a precision tips which, allows you to blend out your concealer under your eyes. The sides are perfect for blending out cream contour. The size of the beauty blender doubles when it is dampen in water
RT Miracle Complexion Sponge
The angled bottom is perfect for applying foundation or setting under the eye with. The top come to a point also, which is perfect for blending out concealer. The rounded area is perfect for larger areas of the face, so it can be used for foundation, cream blush or contour, etc. The size of the RT Miracle Complexion Sponge does not get as the beautyblender, but it becomes slightly larger by about 50%

Application

The application of the beautyblender is a stipple or bounce motion on the face. However, the beautyblender adds some luminous to your foundation when it is dampen. It also does not soak up foundation, which allows you to get the coverage that you desire.
RT Miracle Complexion Sponge
The application is the same as the beautyblender with a stipple or bounce motion on the face. However, I feel like I have to bounce or stipple for a bit longer than I do when using the beautyblender to make sure that the coverage is perfect. I love that it does not add any luminous to my matte foundation, which the beauty blender does. The only thing is that the sponge soaks up so much water and foundation, meaning that to get the coverage that I want,I have to add more foundation.
WINNER: It is a tie, again.
Maintenance

Okay, so the beautyblender for me take a hot minute to clean because I have realized if you use too much soap, it takes forever to get all the soap put, which takes forever and if you use little soap, it does not take out all the makeup out. I honestly, hate washing this when I use too much soap. I recommend to wash the beautyblender after every use.
RT Miracle Complexion Sponge
For some odd reason, it is much easier for me to clean than the beautyblender. It is because I didn't use a lot of soap, which allowed me to clean all the makeup stains in one go. I recommend to wash the RT sponge after every use, because the stains can become permanent, if you do not have a good soap to remove the stains.
WINNER : For a third time today, it's a tie.
Verdict
Well, it is a tie, and I think for me it is quite true. I really love both of these sponges. For the RT Miracle Complexion Sponge, I do not mind that I have to add more foundation to get the coverage that I want or that it does not double its size like the beautyblender. For the beautyblender, I do not mind that it takes me forever to clean. In the end, these two sponge are good and you get the same results. I would say that the RT Miracle Complexion Sponge is not a dupe for the beautyblender, it is more like an alternative. For the price, both are quite reasonable. I see why many people love to use both of the sponge and they love both. It all comes down to how much you are willing to spend because at the end of the day, both of the sponges doe the same things and you will get the same flawless face.
