Hi, Dolls and Gents

I'm 25 years old. I am a quarter of a century, halfway to 50. I turned 25 on March 3 and last weekend was my birthday dinner on March 7, which was Ghana Independence Day weekend. I went to an all you can eat buffet called Copacabana. Ultimate meats and grilled pineapples. I filmed my grwm process from beginning to end, from an egg to a queen of the night. So, let's begin.

Hello, Dolls and Gents

Today, I'm going to be doing shop my stash: fall edition. I got this idea from Samatha Ravndhal from YouTube and I thought it would be a good idea to go through my collection and look for items I would love to use for this fall season. If you would like to know the items I will be using then, keep on reading.

SKINCARE

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

This is my skincare staples all year round, but during the hotter months, I use on and off. During the colder months, this is a key player in my skincare routine because it adds extra hydration and helps balance the skin and help produce less sebum because my skin is hydrated.

The Ordinary 5% Lactic Acid + HA

This is a perfect chemical exfoliant all year round, but again I alter this with my Glycolic Toning Solution. I used the mild version to get my skin use to the acid before going up. When I first started using it,  I noticed a difference in my skin and my skin did tingle a little, but after while it stopped tingling and I didn't notice the results anymore. I think I have to try 10%.

MAKEUP

FOUNDATION (SAMPLES COLLECTED)

URBAN DECAY STAY NAKED WEIGHTLESS IN 90NN

This foundation is a full coverage foundation with great wear time and perfect for a night out, hot and humid weather, or a glam look. I did a full review on this foundation, check it out!

PAT MCGRATH SUBLIME FETISH SKIN IN DEEP 32

This is foundation is the perfect runway makeup. It is a buildable natural finish foundation that has doesn't need to be set to give a fresh look and wears nicely on the skin. I did a full review on this foundation, check it out!

BOBBI BROWN SKIN WEIGHTLESS IN C-096 COOL WALNUT

This foundation is the first full coverage foundation that Bobbi Brown has released. I have a love/hate relationship with this foundation. I feel like it dries way too fast and I do not have enough time to blend it out but I love how the foundation wears on the skin.

HOURGLASS SEAMLESS VANISH IN CHESTNUT

This foundation was discussed all over YouTube for being really good and perfect for anyone who didn't like the stick. Well, I haven't tried the stick foundation and this foundation colour is way off from my skin just makes me look super warm. However, the coverage on this foundation is amazing.

LANCOME TEINT IDOLE ULTRA IN 550 SUEDE C

This foundation is a cult favourite and I can see why. This foundation has amazing wear time and looks flawless on the face. My sample is literally finished because I loved how it looks. I need to invest in the full size.

GIORGIO ARMANI LUMINOUS SILK IN 13.5

This foundation is another cult favourite. I hesitate to try this foundation because I thought it was mainly for dry skin people. When I got a sample of this foundation and I tried it out, I was surprised that I enjoyed it so much. It is a luminous finish that is not too much for combo/oily skin. I won't mind getting a full size, but it is quite similar to the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation.

FENTY PRO FILT'R HYRDATING IN 450

Now, when Rihanna drop this foundation, I knew I had to try it out. This hydrating foundation is perfect for any skin type. It's a natural finish and feels great on the skin. Definitely getting the full size of this.

SEPHORA COLLECTION MATTE TINTED MOISTURIZER IN 15 DEEP

This tinted moisturizer caught my attention as I was looking for a lightweight foundation to take on my trip during the holiday. It is a buildable tinted moisturizer that is matte that can be applied with a brush or fingertips and wears nicely as for a tinted moisturizer. Purchase the full size for my trip.

CONCEALER

TARTE SHAPE TAPE IN 53N DEEP

Like, I have said in the past. I have a love-hate relationship, but lately, I actually have been loving the concealer. It is a full coverage concealer that dries to a matte finish and doesn't need to be set.

MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND IN HAZELNUT

This concealer is a great concealer for dark circles and the formula is amazing as well. It blends out with no issue at all. The only thing I don't love is the applicator. It gets filled with concealer and you end up not using it all and it just stays in the sponge.

EYESHADOW PALETTES

TOO FACED JUST PEACHY VELVET MATTE

This palette fits the vibes of warm pinks, cranberry, and browns. It is the perfect palette for a matte look or to pair with another palette.

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS MODERN RENAISSANCE

This palette screams autumn weather. A warm-toned palette with purple, cranberry, oranges, pinks and browns. This palette has been on the back burner since getting a new palette and adding them to my collection. This palette used to be my go-to palette, but we are going to bring it back.

MORPHE 35O2 SECOND NATURE

This palette was made for the summer, but it works nicely in the autumn weather. The palette is filled with gold, bronzes, reds, oranges and browns. It is the perfect palette for summer and autumn.

MORPHE 35M BOSS MOOD

This palette is the epitome of autumn. This palette is the season all wrapped in one. This palette is filled with olive greens, purples, pinks, oranges, reds, browns and a black. If you need one palette for this time of year, I would say this one.

LIPS

ABH LIQUID LIP IN MALT

This lippie is the perfect warm chocolate brown as a fall nude.

ABH LIQUID LIP IN POTION

This lippie is a deep eggplant with blue-purple undertones. A bold lip with a simple look. Perfect for Halloween.

URBAN DECAY VICE LIP IN EN FUEGO

This lippie is a brown burgundy matte that doubles a nude and a dark lip for the fall.

MAC SATIN LIP IN REBEL

This lippie is a mid-tone plum that is perfect for fall. I actually wore this and hang up lipstick every day during the fall while in university.

MAC CREAMSHEEN IN HANG UP

This lippie is a cool tone deep plum with burgundy undertones. This for me back when I got was a classic for fall, never seem to put it down.

Hey, Dolls and Gents

Today, I am going to show you actually more or less tell you what my nighttime skincare routine is. I posted my morning skin care routine and went into detail why are use each product. For the night time routine, I’m just going to tell you what products I am using and why I’m using them. I will be doing a review for each of these products some point in time but I just want to make sure that I tried each product out before telling you guys my thoughts.

Cleanser

Ole Henriksen Find Your Control Cleanser

I have been enjoying this cleanser for the last few weeks. I love the minty feeling the cleanser gives my face. It is great cleanser because it helps control my oily t-zone, but keeps the rest of my face balanced.

Exfoliater

St. Ives Green Tea Scrub

I have been using this scrub for a while now and I always go back to it. This scrub is gentle enough to use every day both day and night. This scrub contains green tea and salicylic acid which helps with acne, blemishes and anything else. I used this in the morning and night because I always to take control of my blemishes.

Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub

I used this scrub on nights when I feel like my skin is dry and dull. The scent of this scrub is amazing. It smells very earthy. I alternate this scrub with my St. Ives when I feel more on the drier side and my skin is flaking. The scrub is more on the moderate to harsh side of scrubs. I use this scrub two to three times a week.

Toner

ACV + Water Toner

The toner I used is a homemade toner that only uses two ingredients. It involves Apple Cider Vinegar and water. I mixed ACV with water to dilute the vinegar. This toner is amazing. I love my skin looks when using this toner. This toner helps with various issues and it is literally an all-purpose toner to help with different problems. It helps with acne, dark spots, shrinks pores, maintains pH levels.

Serums and Acids

The Ordinary Grandactive 2% Retinoid Emulsion

This is the first time, I have ever added a retonid into my skincare. I am gad witht he rsults that I am getting from this product. This has helps with my laugh lines and fine lines and the overall apperance of my skin.

The Ordinary Caffine Solution 5% + EGCG

I have mixed feelings about this products. I have noticed a difference in my eye puffiness, but I feel like it gave me dark circle. I will go further in depth in a upcoming review.

Moisturizer

Clinquie Dramtically Different Moisturizing Gel

I love this moistuizer. It is the most lightweight moistuizer I have tried. I love that it is a gel consitency, so it pentrates beautifully into my skin and keep my skin feel hydrated and balanced. It is literaly everything, I want in my moisturizer.

_______________

I hope that my night time rountie was helpful for you guys and you find some products that you want to try out. Don't forget to follow my blog. I will see you in my next post.

Hey, Dolls and Gents

I’ve found myself starting getting into trying more skincare products as of late. I don’t know what has changed, but I want to make sure that I have mastered my skincare. I decided to give my skincare an overhaul. I want to complete change and invest in my skin cause my makeup may look amazing, but my skin doesn’t. It doesn’t look good to me. I have fallen in love with some products that I have tried and I have hated some of them.

If you been on social media, you probably have heard of the company The Ordinary. The Ordinary is an affordable skincare company that focuses on making it easy to shop for the products you need and making with less than five ingredients that are easy to say and good for your skin. Everyone has heard of Hyaluronic acid, well I have been using The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid has been on trial for about a month or two. It has helped keep my skin hydrated. There are no dry patches and my skin feels well hydrated and balanced. The only thing that throws me off is that it has a stickiness to it. I don’t know why that is, but if you rub too much it forms little white balls, just to let you know. I don’t if I going to repurchase or try out a new one.

Another The Ordinary product that I picked up is the Granactive 2% Retiond Emulsion. I have been using this for about a month or two and I don’t know how I feel about it yet. I have added it to my night time routine. I have noticed that expression lines on my forehead and laugh lines are not as noticeable as before. But other than that nothing has really changed. I will test it out some more and see where I stand with this product.
I placed an order on Sephora because I wanted to try more skincare products. I finally got my hands on the Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution. This toner is always out of stock and I finally got my hands on it. I have been using this for less than a month, but I noticed that my skin is more radiant and softer. I have to keep testing it out but so far I am enjoying this toner.

I also picked up the Ole Henriksen Find Your Control Oil Control Cleanser in the travel size. This cleanser is perfect if you have combination or oily skin. I have been using for less than a month and I can tell you that my skin feels clean and it doesn’t feel dry after cleansing. It has a mint smell and when you cleanse there is a little tingling sensation. I also picked up the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer, again in the travel size. There is a lot of hype around this moisturizer. I actually like the moisturizer, I have been using for less than a month but I like that it is lightweight and a gel consistency. It absorbs right into the skin.
The last product I picked up from Sephora was The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. I bought is product based on the reviews. This eye serum helps with dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. It has helped with my dark circles and the puffiness on my top lid. I have almond hoped eyes, so I wanted to see if this would help with the puffiness on my top lid and I have seen some difference. I have only been using for less than a month.

That is all the products I have added to my skincare routine and are currently testing out. I will do a full review of each product after I use it a bit more. Skincare takes time to notice the difference in your skincare.

I will see you guys in my next post. Don’t forget to follow my blog to be updated.

Hi, Dolls and Gents,

Today, I am sharing my updated morning skincare routine. I got a lot of new skincare that I have been using for about two months. I will be doing my night time and morning separately because I wanted to explain my process of choosing the products I am using and as well as the benefits it has to my skin type.

If you like to know my detailed skincare routine, just keep on reading.

Morning Skincare

I decided that this year I will focus on my skin. I have been using different products on my skin and I have never had a routine that I fully stuck to. My skin type is combination skin. My t-zone is super oily and the rest of face relatively normal. Before, I focused my skin care on my oily parts of my face because that was a major issue for me. So, all the products were stripping on the skin and my normal parts would get super dry and flake. This time around on focusing on both my oily t-zone and my normal to dry areas.

If you have combination skin like I do. It is better to focus on rebalancing the moisture in your skin. If you didn’t know if you have oily or combination skin, you are creating a lot of sebum production because your skin is dehydrated, so there is an excessive amount of sebum that your body makes to help with the fact that your skin is dehydrated.

Since I have learned this. I have focused on rebalancing my skin as well as using products that will help with issues I have with my skin.

Cleanser

For cleanser, my main focus is on my acne scars, dark spots and uneven skin tone/texture.

Ole Henriksen The Truth Foaming Cleanser

This cleanser is a good for my skin type and the issues I will like to improve my skin. I still don’t know how I feel about it yet. The cleanser is a foam and it is not stripping on my skin that makes my skin feel dry.  It has a citrus scent and it actually helps cleaning the impurities in my skin, as well as removing makeup and help with dark spots and uneven skin tone.

Exfoliater

For my exfoliating, I am focusing on my dark spots, uneven texture/skin tone, pores, and blackheads.

This is a new addition to my exfoliating family. I used this scrub on days that I feel like my skin is dry and dull. The scent of this scrub is amazing. It smells very earthy. I alternate this scrub with my St. Ives when I feel more on the drier side and my skin is flaking. The scrub is more on the moderate to harsh side of scrubs. I use this scrub two to three times a week.

Toner

For toner, I am focusing on my large pores, oiliness, discolouration, acne, light dark spots, prevent blackheads, and maintain pH levels

ACV Toner

The toner I used is a homemade toner that only uses two ingredients. It involves Apple Cider Vinegar and water. I mixed ACV with water to dilute the vinegar. This toner is amazing. I love my skin looks when using this toner. This toner helps with various issues and it is literally an all-purpose toner to help with different problems. It helps with acne, dark spots, shrinks pores, maintains pH levels.

Serums and Acids

For serums and acids, I am focusing on an overall hydration to the skin and to balance out my skin.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid

This has been a major change in my skincare routine. Adding hyaluronic acid to my skincare routine. My skin needs a boost in hydration and as I have been using this, I have seen a difference in skin and I'm happy with the results. My skin feels more hydrated and my skin is a little less oily. I think no matter your skin type, your add hydration to your skincare routine especially when are products that may strip your skin.

Moisturizer

For my morning moisturizer, I am focusing on hydration, oil controlling,  lightweight and even skin texture.

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer

This is my first time using Ole Henriksen products and this moisturizer feels really nice on my skin. This moisturizer focuses on evening skin texture as well hydrate the skin. It is not a heavy moisturizer. It feels lightweight on the skin and sinks into the skin very quickly which I love.

______

Hopefully, you guys find my skincare routine helpful and you find some new products and tricks. My routine will change again, but this what I have been using for the last four to six weeks and I wanted to share it with you. I will be posting my night time routine as well.

Hi Dolls and Gents,

Today, I am bringing you a long overdue post that should have been posted like months ago. But, life and school happened. I am going to review the Bodycoogy and Calgon Cherry Blossom body care that was sent to me.

The theme of Cherry Blossom in well received in this package. You are wondering why cherry blossom. Well, here in Toronto our cherry blossom comes into full bloom late April to early May. The scent is well fitted for the season and is the perfect spring scent if you ask me.

If you would like to know my thoughts on these products, then keep on reading.

Calgon Cherry Blossom Collection

Japanese Cherry Blossom Skin Silkening Bubble Bath

Calgon Silkening Bubble Bath

This bubble bath is amazing. The scent is soft cherry blossom smell. The bubble bath creates lots of bubbles and it very moisturizing on the skin. It contains aloe and vitamin E. I really enjoyed using this in my bath. I would even use it as a body wash. This is available at major retailers including Shoppers Drug Mark and Walmart for $5.97.

Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Mist

Calgon Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Mist

Again, the scent is a fresh cherry blossom. It sprays a fine mist to make sure that your entire body smells like a cherry blossom. This mist is perfect in conjunction with any of the products here but seems to stand out more with the bubble bath.l I like the body mist, but the scent does not last too long and the scent is not as strong on initial spray. It softens with more wear. This spring scent is available at major retailers including Shoppers Drug Mart and Walmart for $6.97.

Bodycology Cherry Blossom Collection

Bodycology Cherry Blossom Bath Fizzies

Bodycology Cherry Blossom Bath Fizzies

This bath fizzies are the perfect addition to the drugstore. It is the perfect alternative to the Lush Bath Bombs. Though the scent of these bath fizzies is great, the bath fizzies take a while to dissolves and does not fizz up as much. You need to add more than more one bath fizzies to get the desired lather that you want. You can found these bath fizzies at your local Shopper Drugs Mart or Walmart for $6.97.

Bodycology Cherish the Moment Cherry Blossom Moisturizing Body Wash

Bodycology Cherish the Moment Cherry Blossom Body Wash

This body wash is everything to me. I literally have not used any other body for the last few months. I even took it camping with me. I really enjoyed this body wash and the lather is perfect. I recommend everyone to try this one out of all the four products. I have nothing but good things to say about this products. You can find this body wash at Shoppers Drug Mart or Walmart for $6.97.

I hope you enjoyed my review on this Cherry Blossom collection that you find your local Shoppers and Walmart. These products were sent to me. I didn't have to review it for you, but I wanted to share my thoughts. I will see you in my next post.
