GRWM : COLLEGE GRADUATION MAKEUP TUTORIAL

by - 7:30 PM

Hi Dolls and Gents,

So, this post should have gone up yesterday, but I was so tired that I decided to post it today. Yesterday was my college graduation. I graduated from George Brown College, Early Childhood Education with Honours. I am proud of myself for finishing college with honours, which I am shocked about. Honestly, if you knew me you would understand. I have started this journey to fulfill my dream of being a teacher and even though it is not a route many would take, I thought it would be perfect for understanding the development of children from infant to school age. The next following years for me will be focusing on improving previous education and also be applying to teacher college. Now, that I am done my mini-speech, we can get on why we are really here. The MAKEUP, duh?

I created a look that was warm and soft using ABH Modern Renaissance Palette. It can go with any outfit. You do not need the palette I used to create this look. If you own the Morphe 35O palette, you can use that and recreate it as well.  If you like to see how I got my look, just keep on reading.

Tutorial

  1. Primed my face with MUFE Mattifying Primer and Nivea 2 in 1 Moisturizing Primer and pressed Laura Mercier Translucent Powder in my t-zone with damp beauty blender to control my shine throughout the day.
  2. Filled in my brows with ABH Dipbrow in Ebony with an angled brow brush and cleaned up brows with RT Detailer brush and LA Girl Pro Conceal in Espresso.
  3. Prime my eyelids with Essence I Love Stage Primer and set it with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.
  4. I set my brow bone with a beige matte, I used  'TEMPERA' with a flat shadow brush.
  5. Using a blending brush, I applied a matte deep orange, I used 'BURNT ORANGE' as a transition colour above the crease and blended it out.
  6. Taking a smaller blending brush, I applied a matte brick orange, I used 'REALGAR' in the crease from outer to inner corners of the eyes and blended it out.
  7. Using a pencil brush, I applied a matte dark brown, I used 'CYPRUS UMBER' on the outer v and brought a bit into the crease and blended it out with a smaller blending brush.
  8. Using a flat shadow brush, I sprayed Fix+ on the brush, I applied a shimmery champagne gold, I used 'PRIMAVERA' and applied it to my lid and cutting the crease a bit using the shadow wet.
  9. I went back into touch any of the colours that were missing during the blending process. I applied the matte brick orange, I used 'REALGAR' with a smaller blending brush to blend 'CYPRUS UMBER' and 'PRIMAVERA' together.
  10.  I applied Urban Decay All Nighter with my damp beauty blender. I highlighted my face using L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in Toast under my eyes, down my nose, and middle of the forehead and blended it out with a damp beauty blender.
  11. I set my highlight and the rest of my face with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder and Jessup Tapered Highlighting brush. I set my face with NYX Matte Setting Spray.
  12. Moving back to the eyes, I took the pencil brush and applied the matte dark brown, I used "CYPRUS UMBER' on my lower lash line.
  13. Back to face, I contoured my face using RT Contour brush and MUG Contour Powder in Scandal. I applied my highlight with RT Setting Brush and Ruby Kisses All Over Bronzing Powder in Bronze Glow. For blush, I applied Jordana Cinnamon Spice blush with Jessup Blush Brush.
  14. I lined my eyes with Maybelline Gel Liner with Jessup Small Eyeliner and applied CoverGirl LashBlast Volume mascara to top and bottom lashes. I applied the Ardell 110 lashes.
  15. I lined and filled my lips with NYX Lipliner in Espresso. I put Maybelline 14 HR Lipstick in Chestnut and top it off with the Clarins Natural Perfector Gloss.
  16. Set my face one last time with NYX Matte Setting Spray
