Torrid Try On | Fitting Room Confidential
Hi Dolls and Gents,
Today, I am bringing you a new addition to my beauty blog. This new addition is going to be called Fitting Room Confidential. The first store I went to for plus size clothing is Torrid. I have passed by this store on my to work and I have wonder how their clothing fits like. So, let's go inside and see the items I have chosen to try on. Everything will be linked below.
For reference, my measurements for clothing is

Double Layered Chiffon Cami
The fit of this top was perfect. I was surprised that it fit so nicely. Sometimes, when I try on these camis, they are a bit tight around the bust area. But, I have enough space around the bust area. The chiffon material makes this top light, nice and airy. The colour is gorgeous. When it starts to get warm, I move toward the light or bright colour because it is a nice contrast to my skin tone.
Torrid Boyfriend Jeans Light Wash
First time wearing boyfriend jeans and I love how they look. I am size 16 and I was scared that maybe it would not fit me or it would be too loose. I love how it fits around my waist, hips, and thighs. A great plus is that it is a mid-rise, which I prefer over the low rise. These jeans are super relaxed.

Chambray Striped Button Front Off Shoulder Top
I like the fit of this chambray top. Off shoulder, tops is so in trend now but it seems that everyone issue with it is that you got to keep your arms down, so it does not move off the shoulder. Well, let me tell you this top didn't move when I was fitting room moving my arms like crazy. The top stayed on my shoulder. The only thing I don't like is the striped pattern and the button. It just not for me. Other than that, this top was really nice.
Torrid Girlfriend Jeans Dark Wash
These girlfriend jeans are amazing. They are a cross between boyfriend and slim straight jeans. Again, this fit in all the right places. It is a mid-rise and a dark wash, which makes my thighs look a little slimmer. Great pair of jeans.

Strappy Front Double Layered Cami
Again, just like I said before. I love the chiffon material, it is very light and comfortable to wear. This top has some neckline detail that helps elevate the top. This top can be dressed up or down. The strappy neckline fits perfectly, it is not loose or right. It is true to size.
Torrid Skinny Short Shorts Dark Wash with Flipped Hem
I love this shorts. I have a hard time finding the right pair of shorts because they seem to always roll up while I am walking and I have to pull them down. That is so annoying. These shorts sit perfectly on the thighs and do not roll up at all. I love the frayed hem on the shorts, it is a more distressed look without the rips.

Torrid Jeggings Dark Wash
These jeggings are super comfortable. The sales associate at Torrid suggests I go down a size because they have so much stretch, but I found that the size 14 was just a little too tight for my liking. So, I got my normal size and I love it a fit. It is jeggings, but it is not the legging material at all. It is more like the stretch of leggings and the material of jeans.
I hope enjoyed my first fashion post. This was a lot of fun and I will be continuing this series. What store should I do next? I am thinking Forever 21+.
