Hi, Dolls and Gents

Today, we will add in some colour to this blog post. I have seen so many colourful looks everyone has created as of late and it just inspires you to play with bright colours and see how you vibe with them.

I usually never go for bright colours because it’s not me, but since a did a little makeup shopping in New York and got that KathleenLights Dream St palette, I want to play with the blue colours.

It started as I tried to follow tutorial a KathleemLights tutorial but I redid to better fit my skin tone. So, if you like to know how to get this look then keep on reading.

Eyes
  1. Fill in brows with ABH Dipbrow in Ebony with ABH #12 brush.
  2. Prime eyelids. I primed my eyelids with Tarte Shape Tape in Deep.
  3. Taking a warm orange as a transition colour, just above the crease. I used Stone Fox from the Morphe 9C palette and Magical from Dream St palette mixed together. I used the BH Fluffy Blending brush.
  4. Taking a warm orange terracotta colour from the outer corner into the crease. I used Potion from the Dream St palette with my Jessup Blending brush.
  5. Take a bit of Shape Tape on a Real Techiques Detailer brush to cut the crease.
  6. Taking a shimmery mermaid blue on your entire lid. I used Mermaid boy from the Dream St palette in a BH Flat Shader brush and apply the colour to the entire lid.
  7. Taking a deep brown purple on the outer corner of the eye and a bit into the crease. I used Elfish from the Dream St palette on Morphe M514.
  8. Taking a warm orange on my lower lash line and deepen the outer lower lash line with a deep brown purple. I used Stone Fox from Morphe 9C and Magical from Dream St. palette on my lower lash line on Jessup Short Shader brush. Using BH small flat pencil brush to blend Elfish from the Dream St palette on my lower lash line.
  9. Taking a shimmer blue green in the inner tear duct. I used Kaleidoscope from the Dream St palette with the Jessup Short Shader brush for my inner corners.
Face
  1. I primed my face with a Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer.
  2. For foundation I mixed Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless in 368 and Fenty Pro Filtr in 460 and blended it out with beauty blender.
  3. For my concealer, I used Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Hazelnut for my dark circles. I applied Tarte Shape Tape concealer in Deep under my eyes, forehead, bridge of nose and chin. I blended out the concealer with beauty blender.
  4. To set my face, I used Laura Mericer Transculent Loose Powder in Medium Deep to set under my eyes, forehead and bridge of nose with a damp beauty blender. I set the rest of face with Maybelline Fit Me loose finishing Powder in dark with BH Large Powder brush.
  5. To contour to my face, I used Makeup Geek Scandal contour on a BH Angled Contour brush to the hollow of my cheeks, jawline and temples.
  6. For blush, I used Vegas from the ABH Gradient blush kit with my Jessup blush brush.
  7. For highlight, I used Ruby Kisses All Over Bronzing Glow in Bronze Glow on a Real Techiques Setting brush to the high point of my face.
Lips
  1. I lined my lips with Maxi Eye and Lip Pencil in Brown. I filled in my lips with Colourpop Mama Ultra Matte Lip.
