Gold Purple Makeup Look | Colourpop x KathleenLights
Hi, Dolls and Gents
I am posting my first fall makeup look. I am super excited to do fall makeup looks. This look is using the entire Zodiac collection from Colourpop. I wanted to try out and create a look which I love how it came out. Okay, so a short intro because I don't need to go into the deets of the products because I did a whole post of the collection, check it out.
Let's get into the look.
Tutorial
- Prime and Bake. I primed my face with the Too Faced Prime and Peachy Primer. I apply Laura Mericer Transculent Loose Powder in Medium Deep to my t-zone where I get the oiliest and let it sit and bake.
- Fill in my brows. I filled in my brows with the Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Black-Brown. I shaped my brows with Tarte Shape Tape in Deep with Jessup Concealer brush.
- Foundation + Concealer. I apply Too Faced Born this Way Foundation in Sable and blended it out with a beauty blender. I apply Tarte Shape Tape in Deep under my eyes, bridge of the nose, forehead, and chin and blended it out with a beauty blender.
- Set the face. I set my highlighted areas with the Laura Mericer Transculent Loose Powder in Medium Deep with a beauty blender under the eyes, forehead, bridge of the nose and chin. I set the rest of my face with Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder in Dark with my Jessup Large Powder brush.
- Transition Colour. I used THE TAURUS as a light transition colour using BH Cosmetics Large Fluffy Blending brush. I used POTION from the Dream St. Palette and apply above my crease with BH Cosmetics Large Fluff Blending #6 brush.
- Crease Colour. I apply THE SAGITTARIUS in the crease with a Jessup Tapered Small Blending brush. I further deepen the crease with the same colour, but I used the Morphe M514.
- Outer Corner. I used THE VIRGO on the outer corner to further deepen the look. I used the Morple M514 to deepen the outer the corner of my eye. Blend and build until you reach your desired deepness.
- Lid + Inner Corner. I applied ASTROLOGY Supernova Cream Shadow on the lid to do a semi half cut crease. I applied THE SCORPIO on the second half of my lid to help blend out the edges of the cream shadow. I applied THE GEMINI on the first half of my lid on a BH Cosmetics Flat Shader #9 brush. For the inner corner, I applied THE CANCER on the inner corner with my Real Techniques detailer brush.
- Lower lashes. I applied POTION from the Dream St. Palette on the lower lash close to the lash line with a Jessup Flat Definer. I applied THE VIRGO on the lower lash line with the same brush to deepen the lower lash line.
- Lashes. I applied the Almine Remi Lashes in #WSP and used the DUO brush on lash glue.
- Bronzer, Blush, Contour and Highlighter. To bronze up my skin, I used Chocolate from the Gradient blush kit on a Jessup Small blush brush. For contour, I used Dusk from the Gradient blush kit using Real Techniques contour brush. For blush, I used ABH Vegas from ABH Gradient blush kit using a Jessup Small blush brush. For highlighter, I used FIRE SuperShock Highlighter from the Zodiac Collection using a Real Techniques Setting brush to my cheekbones, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow and above the brows.
- Lips. I lined my lips with NYX Lip Liner in Espresso and apply What is your Sign lux lipstick from the Zodiac collection
This is my completed look.
