HAPPY GHANA INDEPENDENCE DAY | Makeup
Hi, Dolls and Gents
So, since I have started my YouTube Channel I have just posted on my blog, everything links together. I was going to post this on my channel but I decided to post here just for you guys exclusively. The look I created for Ghana Independence Day is a recreate of the flag on my eyes. If you would like to see my creation of the Ghanaian flag, then keep on reading.
MAKEUP LOOK
- Prime the face. I primed my face with Too Faced Primed and Peachy Primer.
- Apply your choice of foundation. I applied Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 13.5 and blended it out with a beauty blender.
- Apply concealer to highlight face under the eyes, bridge of the nose, top of the lip and forehead. I applied Huda Beauty The Overachiever High Coverage Concealer in Peanut Butter and blended it out with a beauty blender.
- To set the highlighted areas, I used a damp beauty blender and applied Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Baking and Setting Powder in Cinnamon Bun.
- To set the rest of my face with Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder in 40 Dark with a Jessup Large Powder brush.
- Fill in your brows. I filled my brows Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony and ABH #12 brush.
- As a transition colour, I applied a terracotta and burnt sienna colour above my crease. I used Cumin Get and Spice it Up from Fenty Beauty Moroccan Spice palette above my crease with my BH Cosmetic Large Blending brush.
- As a crease colour, I applied a forest green and moss green colour together. I used Untamed and Destiny from ABH Subculture palette into the crease with my Morphe M514.
- For the lid, I applied a yellow gold shade. I used Colourpop x KathleenLights Supernova Shadow in Astrology to the lid and then placed Ca$ablanca on top with a BH Cosmetics Flat Shader brush.
- For the outer corner, I applied a black eyeshadow. I used Crave from the Urban Decay Basics Palette on a Morphe M433 brush.
- For the bottom lash line, I applied both greens, Untamed and Destiny from Subculture palette on the lower lash line with a Jessup Flat Definer brush.
- Lashes and mascara. I applied L'Oreal Telescopic mascara in carbon black and for lashes I applied Laflare Lashes 3D Lashes in SD 14.
- For blush, I used NARS Wanted Cheek Palette II, a red blush, I used Queen on a Jessup Blush brush.
- For the lips, I applied Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick in Crimson on my lips.
