SCHOOL TIME | BACK TO SCHOOL MAKEUP TUTORIAL
Hi Dolls and Gents,
So the school season, is upon us and we ill be going back to learn more stuff and expand our knowledge to go hopefully do better things, Since, I graduated and decided to go back to school, I wanted to do a makeup tutorial that was suitable for the first day of school. Cause I know the first week is when everyone slays and then we become who we truly are and convert to sweatpants and not caring.
The makeup look I am showing today is perfect for high schoolers and post secondary students. But before, I tell how I got the look, just like everyone else says, you do not need makeup to feel beautiful and confident. If makeup is not your thing, then that is okay, you do need to do it to fit in.
Now, let begin with this tutorial. I used less than 10 products to achieve this look. You want something quick and easy for morning, when you want to sleep in a bit.
- Let's start off my brows. I am filling in my brows using the ABH Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony, which is perfect for a long school day. I used my BH Cosmetics Signature Gold Brush #11 and cleaned and shaped my brows using L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in Espresso with Real Techniques brow brush.
- Now, for my base. I start off by priming my face the MUFE Mattifying Primer and apply that to my nose and forehead. After, I will spray the Urban Decay Deslick Setting Spray.
- For foundation, I went in the Clinique Stay Matte Foundation in 29 Sienna all over the face and blended it out with the BH Cosmetics Signature Gold Brush #3
- For cream highlighting, I used the L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in Toast under my eyes, forehead, chin, bridge of nose and cupid's bow. I blended everything out with the Real Techniques Contour Brush.
- Set your face. I used my Laura Mericer Translucent Powder to set my highlight places with the Real Techniques Contour Brush and used the Ruby Kisses Mineral Powder in Cognac to set the rest of my face with Jessup Tapered Face brush.
- Now, for blush and highlight. I used the Jordana Powder blush in Cinnamon Spice with Jessup Blush brush. For highlight, I used the Ruby Kisses All Over Bronzing Powder in Bronze Glow on my cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupid's bow with Jessup Tapered Highlighting brush.
- Move on to eyes. I set my eyes with the Laura Mericer Translucent Powder. I, then took my Jordana blush in Cinnamon Spice and Ruby Kisses Powder in Cognac and mix these two on a BH Cosmetics Signature Gold Blending Brush #6 into the crease. I, then applied the Ruby Kisses All Over Bronzing Powder in Bronze Glow on my eyelids and inner tear ducts using the BH Cosmetics Signature Gold Brush #8
- For mascara, I applied the Maybelline the Falsies and NYC Big Bold Volume on my top and bottom lashes.
- I spray my face with setting spray, so everything locks in. I used the Urban Decay Deslick Spray and the NYX Matte Spray.
- I finished off this look with my Clarins Gloss Prodige in 04 Candy.
