Beauty Guide | HAVING TROUBLE FINDING THE RIGHT FOUNDATION COLOUR AT THE DRUGSTORE????

Okay, before I knew what foundation colour to buy, I just look for the darkest shade for a certain foundation and pray to God that it would match me. Well, I have found any easier way to do this especially for drugstore foundation, after I give your this TRICK, you have to find the closest Sephora to you and get it done. So are you wonder what I'm at talking about... I will tell you....
I went to Sephora one day and I decided to get my PANTONE+COLOR IQ done, I was just curiosity because I knew I was not going to buy any of the foundation in there. If anyone doesn't know, the COLOR IQ is a patent technology that takes three snaps of your skin tone to find the right foundations for you in Sephora. They take the pantone scanner, and take a photo of your forehead, cheek, and neck, the pantone scanner takes a photo of your skin in darkness, so not artificial light is changing your skin colour. After, a code will appear on the pantone scanner and the beauty consultant will type your code into their database of over 200+ foundations to find the right colour. My code was 2R14.

You can asked them to email it to you or just remember the code and go on the Sephora website, under Makeup, in Foundation, you will see the COLOR IQ bar, just click. When I got home, I went on the Sephora website and entered my code and then entered these results into a website called findation.com. Once I entered these foundation shades, well the ones they had, it provide me more foundation colours for various companies, from high end to drugstore.

I was shocked to see the results that findation.com had given me. So far, I have purchase one of the foundation that was recommend from findation and it was the Ruby Kisses Pure Mineral Pressed Powder in Cognac, and let me tell, it matches me to a tee.
I recommend that you guys go try this out ,especially if you like drugstore foundation and hey, you can always get samples from Sephora of your foundation results from the COLOR IQ.

P.S. If you are wondering why I have three shades of the L'Oreal True Match foundation, it is because it changes constantly due to the fit the some of the shades of high end changed when I check it out in Sephora's website.

Holy crap, I never thought of this. I always to Sephora and get samples and at the drugstore I pick a shade that is closest to me. I'm definitely going to try this out, the next time I go to Sephora.
