Imperfections Fading Away | Skincare
Hi Dolls and Gents,
I know, it been more than a week since I posted. But, I have been busy with my field placement and now that I am done with my placement. I am going to be, hopefully posting a bit more.
Today, I am going to talk about dark spots and hyper-pigmentation. In the last few weeks, I have been trying out different ways to get rid of my dark spots, because I was bothering that when my foundation faded, it was the first thing I saw. I have used two products that have help clear up my dark spots, but not my hyper-pigmentation, but that is okay. I can't even ever battle, right?
I am going to share with different ways you can help get rid of your dark spots and also talk about the products that have been transforming my skin. If you would to know more, just keep on reading.
TIP #1
Baking Soda and Lemon Juice
I know, baking soda and lemon juice, does it really work. It actually does, I have tried a few times, I notice that that my dark spots and acne scars were slowly fading way.
You will need:
1 tablespoon of baking soda
Enough lemon juice to make a paste
You will notice when you mix these two together, it will start to fizz for a few seconds. Mix together to get a fine paste and apply it to your face and leave on for few minutes and then rinse off. After a few more used, you will notice your dark spots and acne scars fading away.
Now, on two the two things, I used to get my dark spots and acne scars fading away.
St. Ives Pink Lemon and Mandarin Scrub
St. Ives Even and Bright Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub |
I have been used this scrub for over a month and I have notice that my dark spots and acne scars on my cheeks are fading away. I never usually focus in that because I focused on my pores and oiliness in my tzone. This scrub is a gentle scrub that is not too abrasive on this skin. I used this scrub everyday and night. It apart of my routine. The scent of this scrub is the perfect way to wake up every morning, it has a re-energizing citrus scent. The cons about this scrub is that is super hard to rinse off, I recommend doing it in the shower. It is the best and easiest way to get everything off. The pros of this scrub is the is thick formula, non-abrasive, and smells amazing. I recommend this scrub to everyone, not matter your skin type.
Glamglow FlashMud Brightening Mask
Glamglow FlashMud Brightening Treatment |
This is my first time using this mask and I have to say that I really enjoy using it. I got the three day samples at Sephora to try and though I didn't use it for the three day challenge. I used the sample when I want to deep exfoliate my face. When I used this mask, it do not use the St. Ives scrub because this mask is a pre-exfoliate and mask. You exfoliate for two to three minutes and leave it on your face for twenty minutes. I like mask because it is a two in one product and helps brighten the face. The cons about this mask is that is actually does not brighten your face right after you use, you have to use for a few weeks before you can see a difference on in your face. Also, the scent of this mask is like a orange scent, but not one that smells feeling old. Like the St Ives Scrub this mask is hard to remove and take off, the best way is to take it off in the shower. This mask maybe to drying for dry skin types, but you may want to try it out to see how you like. The pros about this mask is the is makes your skin feel amazing and two in one product. I would recommend this mask to everyone, just anyone with dry or sensitive skin should see how it work for them.
I hope you all learned a few tips about how I deal with my dark spots and acne scars. It is learning process for all of us. Hopefully this helped someone. I will see you in the next post.
