Hi, Dolls and Gents,

I feel like it has been minute since I have been in my blog. This is all where it started and I hope that I can add some more content on my blog that is not on my YouTube channel. As you can tell by the title, I did a full face of new makeup. I did a little shopping during the VIB sale at Sephora and Revlon Canada was kind enough to send me some products to try out.

Okay, let's get started because it is going to be a long one, so I would say grab a snack.

FIRST IMPRESSION + SWATCHES

For brows, I used the Kat Von D Brow Struck Dimension Powder in Walnut. I wanted to try a different brow product that was not a pencil or pomade. This powder gives the most natural looking brows ever. It is perfect for everyday looks because I apply to have my natural look really good. The shade is a little light for me but you can't tell the difference when I am done. I use my ABH #12 brush to fill in my brows.

Lets started with the base, which is like the most important thing, no- I guess for some it is, I don't what I am yet. Anyways, let's stay on topic. For the primer, I used the Revlon PhotoReady  Rose Glow Hydrating + Illuminating  Primer. I have to say that the primer looked weird in the bottle. It looks like it has small beads inside but it is applied to the face it literally disappears. The primer is super hydrating and adds a nice glow to my skin. I would use this primer allow because my oils would not be controlled, so I would say multi-prime the face. For the foundation, I used Dior Forever Skin Glow 24h* Wear Radiant Foundation. The first thing that put me off was the smell of the foundation. It smelled like perfume and a strong one at that. I wore the shade 8 Neutral. I have to say for a neutral foundation it has a strong red undertone, not neutral at all. This foundation reminds me of the Nars Natural Radiant Foundation. It has medium to full coverage, but I prefer a medium coverage. It has a natural radiant finish to the skin, it is a little dewier than NARS Natural Radiant and Sheer Glow.  I didn't find that it oxidizes on my skin, but the red undertone was just a little too red for me.

For concealer, I used the Revlon Photoready Candid concealer in Deep. OMG, this shade is not deep. I feel like it is lighter than my Tarte Shape Tape concealer. Okay, so what I love was the applicator of the concealer. It fit under the eye perfectly and apply the concealer with ease. The coverage on the concealer is like medium coverage. Now, to what I hated about the concealer. It didn't blend out nicely, it kinda lifts in some areas under the eyes, I didn't change how blended out my concealer by using a beauty blender, maybe if I try a brush it will work better. It also looks grey under my eyes making my dark circles look even worse. For setting powder, I used the Revlon Photoready Candid Anti-Pollution Loose Powder in Translucent. This powder is not translucent at all. It is literally a white powder. When I set under my eyes, I used a brush because I didn't want to risk it, but omg. It didn't work for me at all. If I try this again, I need to get it in the shade deep, so I can see how I actually feel.

For lashes, I tried out a new style of lashes for Dodo Lashes D115. These lashes were easy to put on and the style is stunning and way out of my comfort zone. The band on this lash is thin and the lashes are soft and wispy.

For eyes, I used two new eyeshadow palettes. One is from Violet Voss Fruit Sorbert Mini Palette and Revlon ColorStay Maverick Palette. For the Violet Voss Palette, all the shimmers and matte blended out beautifully. There was no skipping and the shadows were really pigmented. I only used four shades, but I am excited to try out the palette and see what looks I created. For the Revlon palette, I used one shimmer shade and it was pigmented and creamy. The formula was more of a creamy shimmer. Drugstore shades do not always have the best pigmentation, I didn't try out the matte shadows yet, so I hope the quality is up to par.

For bronzer, I used the Fenty Beauty Sun Stalker Bronzer in Mocha Mami. OMG, I think I found my new bronzer. Mocha Mami is the deepest shade in the collection and has a red undertone. I was debating whether or not I should get Coco Naughty but I decided against it. This formula is soft and buildable so you are able to build up the bronze on your face.

For highlighter, I used the Revlon PhotoReady Sunlit Dream Highlighting Palette in 003. Okay, first off I can only use one colour as my highlight in the palette and that is the deepest one. I don't know how I feel about the highlighter yet, but I love how it looks on the skin.

To finish off the look, I used Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in  Fuel 2.0 and Sephora Ultra Gel Lipgloss in 37 Sand. Since the warm weather is coming. I wanted to get more nudes lipstick, especially peachy nudes in my collection as well as shimmer gloss to make the lips pop. Urban Decay Fuel 2.0 is the perfect peach nude for my skin tone. It is a deep warm peach nude is not too light for me. I line my lips with MAC Chestnut and blend them both together and my lips look so juicy. For the gloss, I have been wanting a shimmer gloss for every now and this one was the perfect one. It is clear gloss with gold shimmer. On top of lipstick, it looks gorgeous. On its own, it is a subtle shimmer.
