Last Minute Halloween Makeup | Cinderella

Hi, Dolls and Gents

This week, I will be doing my first ever Halloween tutorials. For the last two years, I have skipped out on it because my makeup skills for special effects are non-existent and I don't really bother for Halloween. I'm going to a Halloween party this weekend, I am deciding what I wanted to do. So, I bring three looks that don't involve special effects and only requires your own makeup.

The first Halloween look is Cinderella. You are probably wondering which one. Well, I mean the Cinderella movie with Brandy and Whitney Huston that was released in 1997. I own this movie and I love it as a child and I still love it. I wanted to do a modern twist on Cinderella. If you would like to see how I got this look, then keep on reading.

Tutorial

  1. Fill in your brows. I used the ABH Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony with my BH Cosmetics #12 brush. I cleaned and shaped them with my Real Techniques detailer brush and L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in Toast.
  2. Prime your eyelids. I primed my L.A. Colour Jumbo Pencil in Seashells and set with the cream shadow from the NYX Graduate Palette (2nd row, 1st colour) with my Jessup Tapered Highlighter brush.
  3. Transition Colour. Taking a warm orange shade from the NYX Graduate Palette (3rd row, 5th colour) on my BH Cosmetics #6 blending brush.
  4. Crease colour. Taking a blue-grey shade from the NYX Graduate Palette (5th row, 1st colour) into the crease with a Jessup Tapered Blending brush.
  5. Deepen outer corner. Taking a navy blue shade from the NYX Graduate Palette (4th row, 4th colour) in the outer corner with a BH Cosmetics #7 Pointed Blending brush and brought some into the crease.
  6. Apply a blue cream base. Taking the essence kajal pencil in 26 Beach Bum and essence long lasting pencil in 17 tu-tu-turquoise mixed it together on the lid, bring it halfway.
  7. Apply a light blue-grey and blue shimmer on the lid. Taking a light blue-grey shimmer from NYX Graduate Palette (3rd row, 1st colour) on the inner corner and a bit on the lid with an e.l.f eyeshadow brush. Taking a light blue shimmer from the NYX Graduate Palette (5th row, 5th colour) on the rest of the lid.
  8. Blend outer corner and lid. Taking the navy blue from the NYX Graduate Palette (4th row, 4th colour) on the BH Cosmetics #7 Pointed Blending brush to blend with the light blue shimmer.
  9. Apply mascara and lashes. I applied L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara to top and bottom lashes and applied Ardell 110 lashes with DUO Brush on-lash adhesive.
  10. Prime + Foundation. I primed my face with Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer. For foundation, I mixed Clinique Even Better in Pecan and UD All Nighter in 12 and blended it out with my beauty blender.
  11. Conceal. Taking L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in Toast and applied it to the eyes, forehead, bridge of nose, chin and blended it out with a beauty blender.
  12. Set. Taking Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder in Dark on BH Cosmetics #1 Powder brush on the entire face. Taking Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in 325 Cream Beige to set all the concealer using the Jessup Tapered Highlighter brush.
  13. Contour and Highlight. Taking Makeup Geek Scandal contour powder, lightly contour your face with an angled brush. I used the BH Cosmetics #5 Angled brush. Highlight the high points of the face by mixing a gold and rose gold highlight. I used Ruby Kisses All Over Bronzing Powder in Bronze Glow and wet n wild mega glow highlighter in Crown of my Canopy on Real Techniques Setting brush.
  14. Lips. Taking NYX Lipliner in espresso and lined the lips. I applied Maybelline 14HR lipstick in Lasting Chestnut.
