Hello, Dolls and Gents

I know, I haven't posted in two weeks. I have been so busy with my part-time job. It is the holiday season and the malls have extended the hours and I work long hours. I thought I would share an affordable/drugstore makeup tutorial. I haven't done these in a hot minute. I wanted to create a kind of fall/winter makeup look. It may be Fall, but the weather here in Toronto is all winter.

Tutorial

1. Prime your face. I used the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer.
2. Fill the brows. I filled in my brows with NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Black.
3. Apply foundation. I applied the CoverGirl Vitalist Exlir foundation in Soft Sable and blending it out with the real techniques buffing brush. 
4. Conceal + Set. I concealed and highlight with the L.A. Girl Pro Concealer in Toast and blended it out with the real techniques buffing brush. I set my highlighted areas with the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in 325 Cream Beige. 
5. Set your foundation in place. I set the rest of my face with my Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder in Dark with my BH Cosmetics #1 Large Powder brush.
6.  Blush + Highlight. I applied Makeup Geek Soulmate blush with Jessup blush brush and highlight my cheekbones with Wet n Wild megaglo highlighter in Crown of My Canopy 
7.  Transition colour. I applied Frappe and Soulmate blush from Makeup Geek on my ABH  dual-ended eye brush, as my transition colour.
8.  Deepen the crease and outer v. I took the sixth shade in the Maybelline the Nudes palette, a cool-toned deep brown on a Jessup small blending brush and applied to my crease and outer v. I blended and deepen the colour each time
9. Black it out. Taking the twelfth shade in the Maybelline the Nudes palette, a black eyeshadow on the BH Cosmetics Pointed Blending brush and applied it to the outer corner and blended it into the crease.
10. Lid colour. Taking the ninth and eleventh colour in the Maybelline the Nudes palette, a bronze metallic and pinkish cream shadow on the lid on a wet e.l.f eyeshadow brush. 
11. Add the wings. I winged my liner using the Maybelline eye studio gel liner in Black on the real techniques fine liner brush.
12. Mascara + Lashes. I applied L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise and applied dodo lashes in D119 lashes.
13.  Glossy Deep Purple Red Lips. I lined my lips in NYX Suede Lip Liner in OH Put it On, applied NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Transylvania and top it off with Maybelline the Elixir gloss in Amethyst Potion.
