Many of us own a bunch of lipstick in our makeup collection, some that we wear all the time, some that never touched. There is a reason for that. When choosing a lip colour, we are often told we should choose it based on our skin tone, rather than our skin's undertone. Here is a quick way of finding your skin undertone:
To find your skin undertone look at veins on your wrist in daylight. 

• Blue veins = PINK OR COOL UNDERTONES 
• Green veins = YELLOW OR WARM UNDERTONES 
• Blue and Green Veins = NEUTRAL UNDERTONES 

Your skin undertone plays a role when choosing any makeup products because it has to complement each other or it is is just a hot mess. Here are a few tips when choosing the right lip colour: 

1. Identify Your Undertone - With the most basics, everyone skin has undertones of either yellow or pink or both. Yellow is warmer, pink is cooler, both yellow and pink is neutral. Knowing your undertones is helpful when trying to find which lipstick look best yo you. 
2. Know which shade work with your undertones - For yellow undertone, stick to warmer colours and for pink undertone, stick to blue or purple tone in them
