Envy Green Makeup Tutorial | Makeup

Hi, Dolls and Gents

Today, I am going to share my first Spring makeup tutorial. I wanted to start off the season with a dramatic green look. I wanted to use the most talked and reviewed palette and that is the ABH Subculture palette. I don't want to share my thoughts in this post, but I will do a review on it at a later date.

I also wanted to do a one brand tutorial/first impression, no matter high end or drugstore. I thought this would be a good idea since we have a lot of makeup releases. I am trying to expand my collection with drugstore makeup. Let me know in the comments below if you would be into that. I also wanted to a makeup stash post so I can show you my makeup collection a bit by bit. Let me your thoughts.

Okay, I wanted to play with the greens in the palette, since these are colours that I tend to stay away from. I also thought it was the perfect colour for spring. If you like this tutorial, share it with your peers and family. Also, follow my blog. I am trying to be more consistent with my post.

Tutorial

Eyes

  1. Prime eyelids. I primed my eyelids with L.A. Colors Jumbo Pencil in Sea Shells.
  2. Set Primer. I set the primer down the 'DAWN'.
  3. Apply transition colour above the crease. I applied 'MERCURY' on a BH Cosmetics #6 Large Fluffy Blending brush.
  4. Apply 1st crease colour. I applied 'DESTINY' on a BH Cosmetics #6 Large Fluffy blending brush from the inner and outer corner of the eye.
  5. Apply 2nd crease colour. I applied 'UNTAMED' on a Jessup Small Tapered blending brush from the outer to inner corner of the eye. I further blended it out the with BH Cosmetics #6 Large Fluffy brush.
  6. Apply 3rd crease colour. I applied 'AXIS' on a Real Techniques Base Shadow brush directly in the crease from outer to inner corner of the eye. I kept applying until I reached the deepness that I wanted. I further blended the edges with 'MERCURY' my transition colour on the BH Comestic #6 Large Fluffy brush.
  7. Halo effect, lid colour. I cleaned up the centre of the lid with L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in Espresso. On a BH Cosmetics Flat Shader brush, I sprayed with Urban Decay All Nighter spray and applied 'ELECTRIC' to the centre of my lid. I made sure to blend the edges of 'ELECTRIC' into 'AXIS' with my Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush.
  8. Inner corner highlight. I applied ' CUBE' with my Real Techniques Accent brush on my inner corner.
  9. Mascara + Lashes. I applied Maybelline Big Shot mascara to the top and bottom lashes. For lashes, I wanted a lash that was not too dramatic and take over the eye look. I applied RD Beauty Lashes in Kuwait.
  10. Lower lashline. I applied the same shades in the crease as I did in the lower lash line, I applied 'MERCURY' with Jessup Small Tapered brush and 'UNTAMED' with the same brush. I applied 'AXIS' with Real Techniques base shadow brush and blended it out further.

Face

  1. Primer. I applied the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer.
  2. Set the Primer. I set my primer with the beauty blender and the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder in Medium Dark.
  3. Foundation. I applied MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW55  with my beauty blender.
  4. Cream Highlight. I applied L.A. Girl Pro Conceal in Fawn under my eyes, forehead, bridge of the nose, and chin and blended it out with my beautyblender.
  5. Bake, but not really. I set all the areas I highlighted with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder in Medium Dark with my beauty blender. I taped the beautyblender into the powder and the excess on the back of my hand before setting under my eyes, forehead, bridge of nose and chin.
  6. Set the rest of face. I set the rest of my face with Black Opal True Velvet Loose Powder in Dark with my Jessup Large Powder brush.
  7. Blush, Contour, and Highlight.I contoured my jawline, temples, and hollows of cheeks with 'DUSK' from the ABH Blush Kit in Gradient with BH Cosmetics Angled brush. For blush, I wanted an understated blush colour, so I applied 'CHOCOLATE' from the ABH Blush Kit in Gradient with Jessup Small Blush brush. For highlight, I applied Ruby Kisses All Over Glow Bronzing Powder in Bronze Glow with Real Techniques Setting brush on my cheekbone, bridge of the nose, cupids bow and chin.
  8. I set my entire face with Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

Lips

  1. Nudes. I lined my lips with NYX Espresso lip liner and applied Urban Decay Vice Liquid lipstick in 1993.
