Hi, Dolls and Gents

This look is a result of me being creative and seeing where the look took me. I wanted to mainly use the Subculture palette but I wanted also wanted to do a pop of pink somewhere. I have seen so many colourful looks and I want to step out my basic look. I also tried out a new method of applying shadow from PatrickStaar.

If you want to see anymore colourful look, let me know and I will create more. I am having a lot of fun.

Let’s get into the tutorial.

EYES

  1. Fill in your brows. I used ABH Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony. I cleaned up my brows with Tarte Shape Tape in Deep with Jessup Concealer brush.
  2. Prime eyelids. I primed my lids with Tarte Shape Tape in Deep with my beauty blender. I set it with my Laura Mericer Transculent Loose Powder in Medium Dark with my beauty blender as well.
  3. Going into the Dream St. palette, I took WATER BEARER on a Jessup blending brush (similar to a MAC 217). I packed the colour onto my lid and blended into my crease. I applied the colour until I got my desire deepens on my lid.
  4. Using the Dream St. palette. I took SPARK on a BH Fluffy Blending #6 brush to further blend out the crease. This crease a gradient from a hot pink to a blue-green shadow. I switched between WATER BEARER and SPARK to make sure the crease who blended properly.
  5. Using Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome in Electric Emerald. I applied it to the lid to cut the crease using the applicator. I applied halfway on my eye. Using a Subculture, I applied ELECTRIC on a flat shader brush to the lid to make the green pop a bit more.
  6. Using the Subculture palette, I used AXIS on the Morphe 514 to blend in between the crease and lid colour. I also applied some on the outer corner to blend the edges of ELECTRIC.
  7. Going back into the Dream St. and Subculture palette, I mixed WATER BEARER and AXIS on a Jessup Short Shader brush and applied on the lower lash line.
  8. I applied a thin winged liner with essence liquid long-lasting pen liner. I applied DODO lashes in D119 with DUO lash glue.

BASE

  1. Prime the face. I primed my face with Too Faced Primed and Peachy Matte Primer. I set my primer with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder in Medium Dark on my beauty blender where I get the oiliest.
  2. Foundation + Concealer. I applied Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Sable and blended it out with a beauty blender. For Concealer, I used Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Full Coverage Concealer in C13 to highlight my bridge of the nose, under the eyes, forehead, cupids bow, and chin. I blended everything out with a beauty blender
  3. Set the face. I set my concealer with Laura Mercier Powder with a beauty blender. I set the rest of my face with Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder in Dark with BH Cosmetics Large Powder brush.
  4. Blush + Contour + Highlight. For blush, I used Vegas from the ABH Gradient Blush Kit on a Jessup Small Blush brush. For contour, I used Soulmate from Makeup Geek on a BH Angled Contour brush. For highlight, I used Dose of Colors Desi x Katy MÍRAME Highlighter on a Real Techniques Setting brush on the highest points of my face.

LIPS

  1. For the lips, I lined my lips with NYX Espresso Lip Liner. I applied Urban Vice Liquid Lipstick in 1993 and top it off with essence wet shine lip gloss in clear.
Here is the completed look.
