Hi, Dolls and Gents

Since September has come to an end and we are heading into October, I wanted to share my current beauty favourites that I have been loving for the last few months. I would love to do monthly favourites, but I don't change my products and I tend to stick to what I like. This way I can share a few things that I have been loving recently and I get to share with you.

So, let me share with you my current beauty favourites.

FACE

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

I purchase this foundation on a whim during the summer because I didn't have any foundation that matched me after my trip to New York. I remember reviewing this foundation and not loving. But, Jackie Aina collab with Too Faced to extend the shade range and I wanted to try out her shades. I picked up the foundation and I love it. It gives a natural finish. It felt lightweight but hydrating on my face with medium to full coverage. I really liked this foundation and now it is time to get my fall/winter shade, it is the perfect foundation for the cool months.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation

Finally, I found my shade in this foundation. I have had the longest search for my shade. When Maybelline first release this foundation, I was in the shade 360. As they kept expanding their shade range, that colour change and 360 was no longer my match. When I went to New York I got my hands on 368. I thought it would be the perfect match for me but it was too yellow on my skin. I gave up and decided to get my right shade when the cooler months came around. I got the shade 370 and it matched me perfectly and I love this foundation. It is a medium to full coverage foundation that is perfect for oily to combination skin. My oil does not come through as fast and I love the natural matte finish it has on my skin.

Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer

I won't talk a lot about this concealer because I recently did an entire post on it. I love this concealer. The coverage is a medium to buildable coverage, natural matte finish, hydrating and lightweight. I have nothing but good things to say about this concealer.

Sephora Collection Spice Market Blush and Contour Palette

I stumbled on this palette because my friend wanted to show me what she got. I didn't think I was going to get any use for this palette to be honest. Initially looking at it, I thought it would not work for my skin tone. Well, I was hella wrong. I used Mahogany (matte) as a bronzer/blush and it warms up my skin nicely. The light gold looks deceiving but it literally applies a gold with no colour base, so it looks good any skin tone. Love this palette so much.

Anatasia Beverly Hills Blush Kit in Gradient

Since I have had my hands on this blush kit, I never seem to put it down. I used it every day. This product got me to VIB. I didn't think I would use it as much as I do. I utilize every colour in the palette. I used Chocolate as a bronzer, Vegas and Blackberry as a blush and Dusk as a contour. It looks beautiful on my skin.

Eyes

Rimmel Brow Pencil in Black Brown

This eyebrow pencil has been a part of my repurchases for the last while. I bought this brow pencil on a whim at the drugstore and when I used it, I fell in love with the formula of the pencil. I haven't bought any other brow product this much than my dipbrow pomade.

Morphe 9C Jewel Palette

OMG, I can't seem to put this palette down. I got at Ulta on my New York Trip and it seems that I can't put it down. I have been using this palette for every look that I create or mixing with other palettes. This palette is an Ulta exclusive.

Colourpop x KathleenLights Dream St. and The Zodiac Palette

Well, it would be no secret that I have been using these two palettes in a rotation. I love that Kathleen created palettes that can be used in its own, but they also complement each other. I really enjoy using these palettes and I can get a simple natural look or a dramatic look with the bright colours.

RD Beauty Lashes in Kuwait

Now, a shoutout to the lashes I can't seem to put down and I always go back to. I discover this lash on a whim at the beauty supply store and every since I fell in love with them. I love that they a dramatic but natural. They work perfectly for a dramatic look when I want to focus on the eye makeup or natural look.
