Carry-On Essentials + Skincare Travel Bag | New York

Hey, Dolls and Gents

In yesterday post, I talked about how I packed my suitcase when travelling and what I do in order to keep everything organized and easy to find when I arrive at my destination. Today, I am going to share with you my carry-on essentials and skincare travel bag. This is the second part of my packaging post. Tomorrow, I will post an update Makeup Travel Bag.

 Now that my suitcase is ready and all packed. We can move onto my carry-on. 

 For my carry-on, I debated whether or not I wanted to use a backpack or duffle bag. I decided to go with my backpack. Your carry-on should hold all your important and valuable items. It is better to have everything with your than to place it into your suitcase and it getting damaged.

CARRY ON ESSENTIALS 

You will need:
  • Keys 
  • Wallet 
  • ID/Passport (including Student ID)
  • Tickets (Bus or Plane)
  • Lip Balm
  • Deodorant 
  • Neck Pillow 
  • Earphones/Charger 
  • Hand Sanitizer/Wipes
  • Tampons/Pads
Once, I have all my carry-on essentials packed I start to pack my skincare bag. My skincare bag holds all my skincare and body care products. I have a travel size version for each product or I purchase a small travel-friendly container and place the product in there. 

The reason why my skincare is coming with me on the bus is that I will do my skincare routine before I fall asleep and when I wake up to keep my skin hydrated and moisturized.  I may apply some makeup.

SKINCARE TRAVEL BAG 

So, what I am bringing with me 
  • Neutrogena Rapid Clear Cleanser 
  • St. Ives Apricot Scrub 
  • ACV Toner (orange travel bottle)
  • Clinique Dramatically Different Gel Moisturizer 
  • Body Wash (orange travel bottle)
  • Vaseline Cocoa Butter Body Lotion 
  • Loofah
  • Cotton Rounds 
  • Toothbrush/Toothpaste
  • Listerine 
  • Shower Cap
All of these products are travel size or in a small travel bottle that is easy to carry. Now, I placed all of these items in my skincare bag and the rest that cannot fit in the bag will be moved to my carry-on. My body towel will be in one of packing cubes and my face towel will be in skincare bag.



Now, that I have shared everything that I will be bringing in my carryon and my skincare bag, we can move on to my updated travel makeup bag. I hope this was helpful for some of you and learned some new travel tips. I will see you in my next post.
