Hello, Dolls and Gents,
Today, I am bringing you another I tried to follow makeup look. This time is an Instagram post that I tried to recreate. An amazing makeup artist, Vanessa Gyimah posted a really bright look that was pink and silver and immediately when I saw it, I had to try to recreate. So that is what I did. You can follow her in Instagram @vanessa_gyimah.
I think the look came out really well, of course, I would have the same products as her but I tried to use what I had in my makeup collection. The only thing that is the same as the foundation and concealer that is it. If you would like to see how got this look, then keep on reading and watching.
Tutorial Summary
- Prime my face with Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip Primer.
- I filled in my brows with ABH Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony and cleaned it up with Fenty concealer in 460 with a flat concealer brush.
- My eyelids were primed before and I used MAC Painterly Paint Pot. Using ABH Riveria Palette, I went into 'BAHAMAS' as my main crease colour on a Morphe 441 brush and applied all over the crease and made sure it was blended.
- I cut the lid with Jessup flat concealer brush and MAC Painterly Paint Pot.
- Now for the lid, I applied essence metal chrome eyeshadow in steel the look with BH Cosmetics Flate Shader #9 brush.
- I went back with my Morphe 441 brush to blend 'BAHAMAS' on the outer corner, so there is a blend between the pink and the silver.
- I applied the Ruby Kisses Glitter Primer and Sephora Glitter in 03 Silver on the lids.
- I applied winged liner with NYX Matte liquid liner. I applied dodo lashes in d115 as well.
- I applied NARS Sheer Glow in Namibia and blended it out with my beauty blender.
- Using the ABH Cream Contour Kit in Deep, I used Rich Earth and Carob and applied to the hollows of cheeks, chin, and nose with Jessup Large Shader brush and blended it out with my beauty blender
- For concealer, I used Fenty Instant Retouch Concealer in 460 to highlight with my face and blended it out my beauty blender.
- Set the face. I set my highlighted areas with a damp beauty blender and Huda Beauty Loose Baking Powder in Cinnamon Bun.
- Back to the eyes. I applied 'BAHAMAS' on BH Cosmetics #7 brush on my lower lash line. I line my waterline with Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Zero. For lower lash mascara, I went with L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara.
- For bronzer and blush, I used Fenty Sun Stalk'r Bronzer in Mocha Mami using Jessup Blush brush. For blush, I used 'BAHAMAS' on a Real Techniques contour brush.
- For lips, I applied MAC Flat out Fabolous and top it off NYX Suede Cream Lipstick.
