So, I hope you enjoyed my last post. It has been a while, so I am trying to put up all the posts of the products I have been sent and I have bought in the last six weeks.

So, a little background to what I have in store for my blog. In the six weeks that I have been off not blogging. I have been thinking of adding some new elements and topics to my blog. I want to focus on other things that I am interested in or just sharing my journey with you guys. So, I am thinking of adding a fashion section. Focusing on fashion for plus size women and a place to get inspired. I also thinking of adding a lifestyle (probably won't do it), and other interesting things.

Anyways, back to why you guys are really here. I purchased Makeup Geek Contour and Blush for the first time ever. I have never tried any of these products prior, so I am super excited to share my thoughts about Makeup Geek and Blushes.

Makeup Geek recently released 8 shades for almost every skin tone to bronze and contour. First, off I would like to say Thank to you to Makeup Geek for being an affordable brand that thinks of every skin tone, not just one and the quality of the products reflect Marlena's vision.

The eight shades that were released included both warm and cool tone shades for each skin tone:

• Warm Shades
• Love Triangle - warm undertones and best suited for porcelain skin tones
• Bad Habit - warm undertones and best suited for fair skin tones
• Half-hearted - warm undertones and best suited for medium skin tones
• Deal Breaker - warm undertones and best suited for deep skin tones
• Cool Shades
• Break Up - cool undertones and best suited for porcelain skin tones
• Infidelity - cool undertones and best suited for fair skin tones
• Complicated - cool undertones and best suited for medium skin tones
• Scandal - cool undertones and best suited for deep skin tones

The colour I chose is Scandal for my contour shade. It is actually the perfect contour shade for my skin tone. I was thinking about Deal Breaker as a bronzer for my skin tone if it warm enough and slighter darker than my skin tone as well.

The contour comes in a single pan that placed in a Z-Palette that retails for $10.00, as well as a compact that retails for $15.00. I purchased my contour shade for $4 - 5, I know. 

Blush Powders

A few months back, Makeup Geek updated the formula for their blushes and adding more shades to their current collection. The colour I got to try out is Soulmate. I was a little hesitated in getting this colour because I was wondering if it would every appear on my skin. And long behold, this blush is the perfect pink purple blushes for my skin tone. Soulmate is described as a muted mauve with rosy nude undertones and a shimmery finish. But, it definitely does not pull a muted mauve rose on my skin tone. Soulmate pulls more on the pink blush with purple undertone with my skin tone. It is the perfect fresh skin, kinda rosy cheek blush for my skin tone.
